Who are we?


Sherri Hall’s 35 years working with
animals has led her through experiences
starting in her teenage years supervising
horse camps, rescuing/rehabilitating
wildlife, to operating a successful
kennel, breeding, boarding and training
facility.  As the owner of ByeBye Birdie,
she works with clients to develop
customized programs for Animal Control
and Goose Control services.  Her latest
venture, Elite Detection Dogs, provides
sales and services for bedbug, mold and grow op detection dogs.  Her success is not only attracting attention, it is receiving recognition.  She won the South Simcoe Business Excellence award in 2008, Entrepreneur of the Year.

Sherri is currently working towards her certification as a Detection Dog Trainer and she is currently a CKC K-9 GOOD NEIGHBOUR EVALUATOR (see here for more info about this program).

In addition to BBB, Sherri owns and operates a licensed breeding/training/boarding kennel under the name of Maplelane Farm in New Tecumseth, breeding Golden retrievers and Border Collies. Her new company ELITE DETECTION DOGS , with the use of bed bug, drug, mold detection  and search and rescue dogs is well on it's way. Sherri has been a resident of New Tecumseth for 16 years, prior to that exclusively in York Region.


Jennifer Hall, -  Part time K9 Handler
Jennifer Hall has been training dogs for over 15 years. She has trained dogs for many different fields including; obedience, conformation, hunting, flyball, agility, frisbee, dock dogs, goose control, scent detection and search and rescue. She currently owns 3 of her own dogs with whom she competes regularly.
Jennifer is a certified Master Trainer specializing in scent detection and search and rescue. She completed her courses at Tarheel Canine Inc. Police K9 Services.
She has also completed all of the training and testing required to become a Police Officer and holds a valid Security Guard licence. Jennifer completes the majority of our inspections.

Chris Sturgess -  Animal Control Officer
Chris has joined our staff as the ACO for the Town of Innisfil. He has had a long time interest in dogs and enjoys working with his volunteer activities within the town. A welder by trade. Chris is enjoying his new career within his home town.

Sherry Greenbury, Graphics/Research
Sherry Greenbury is retired now from her hobby of 30 years of breeding, training and showing German Shepherds. Her 20 years of experience within the printing trade as a lithographer has opened up new avenues for her and she operates the business of Kayliss Design which incorporates web site building and maintenance, printing, Metal Art, Vinyl Signs and Virtual Assistance.
Sherry is now maintaining this site.

All BBB staff are currently certifying in Pet First Aid and as
CKC Canine Good Neighbour Evaluators
This will allow our staff to become more proficient in promoting
responsible pet ownership to the public.
